I'm not keeping up this Blog - - - why?

Because I forget I have this blog. I have another blog that I add to periodically. It's title is "Seaside, Lollipops and Rainbows!" I'll have to figure out what to do about having two blogs. Oh my! It's hard enough having one. I had this blog first but didn't really care for it and moved on. Oh my!

Events of importance to remember in 2010

2010 is flying by and I thought it would be good to make a brief list of events that happen and have happened in this year.

January 3 - Dean's birthday
Jan 28 - Eric's birthday
Feb 5 - My sister Alyson's birthday
February 14 - Valentine's Day
February 23 - Dean's and my anniversary (31st)
February 28 - Eric and Jen's 6th anniversary
February 26-28 - Anniversary Trip to Hyrum, Utah
February 28 - Howard leaves for Haiti with the army for earthquake relief trip - 2 months

I'll add to the list as the year progresses.
I live in Utah, now. So why did I name my blog something about Florida? Because I used to live in Florida and was there for 20 years. I guess I have come to realize that as much as I wanted to move back to Utah, now that I'm here I realize I will always love Florida. I have another blog but its' subject can stray from family to other unrelated things so I have started this blog and hope to keep it along the lines of "me" or things and people related to me.

I really miss Florida this week because this is the week when my friends and my son who lives there start to go back to the beach. The sun shines eternally in Pensacola and spring fever sets in and is in high pitch for most people who have to sit in an office like I did when I lived there. The happiest part of each day for me was when I would leave work at 5:00 each day and walk out into the bright Florida sun and head home.

Saturdays were also great. I loved to drive over to Bayou Blvd and go to Target, Lowes and somoetimes O'Brien's Bistro for a lovely lunch for one in the last year I lived there.

Today in Utah the sun is also shining and that makes me think about Florida and about planting flowers, and washing windows inside and out and humming throughout each process.

That's it for now. More later.
